The gold and black samurai armor details pop beautifully against the matte white plastic, and the custom Tokugawa crest on the shoulder pad is a nice touch. Took me about six hours to assemble, but the articulation in the waist really lets you pull off dynamic sword poses.

The Tokugawa Ieyasu Nanban-Dogusoku detailing is insane for a MG kit—the layered armor actually feels like it tells a story as you snap it together. Clear articulation holds up even with the heavy cape and weapon loadout, so I can pose it without everything sagging. Took me a weekend to finish, but

The metallic finish on the armor pieces really pops once assembled, capturing that samurai aesthetic perfectly. I spent a good two hours just admiring the intricate detail on the shoulder pauldrons before even starting the next section.
