Evolution Studios RG 1/144 Akatsuki Water Slide Decals

The gold foil markings are incredibly sharp and add a premium look that the kit really needed. Application was straightforward even for a decal novice like me, and they adhered perfectly with a bit of setting solution.

The panel lining markings fit perfectly onto the curved sections of the Akatsuki's armor without any silvering. I was impressed that the carrier film practically vanished after a coat of Mark Setter. This set really elevates the finished look with the crisp, official-style decal placements.

The fine detail on these precision markings really pops once you get them wet and placed. I was nervous about the tiny gold sections shifting, but they slid into position cleanly and settled without silvering even on the curved shoulder armor. Solid upgrade for anyone building out the Akatsuki.
