Premium Bandai HG 1/144 Gundam Dryon III

The joints on this kit are surprisingly tight for a Premium Bandai release, so posing the Dryon III feels solid without any wobble. Assembly took me about three hours and the detail on the SEED design is exactly what I hoped for.

The panel lining pops beautifully on this HG kit, and the Dryon III’s asymmetrical backpack is the standout detail I spent the most time on. Assembly was smooth with no loose parts, and it holds a dynamic pose really well once you’ve got the action base set up.

The articulation on this HG kit is incredible for the price—the Dryon III’s shoulders and wings lock together so cleanly I didn’t need any glue. It’s a quick, satisfying build that looks surprisingly sharp on the shelf, and being a regular Bandai release, the plastic quality is spot on.
