The lance’s gold trim is surprisingly crisp for the mold, and the shoulders snap in with that satisfying HG click. Took me an evening to panel-line and topcoat, and it’s easily the best Gyan variant I’ve built so far.

The nippers barely got a workout on these runners—the plastic is crisp and the purple frame pops even before panel lining. The Gyan's shield and lance fit together with zero seam stress, which is rare for a Premium Bandai kit this detailed.

Panel lining this kit was a joy—the molded details on the shield and torso just pop without any extra work. The lance's connection to the arm is solid, so posing it mid-thrust doesn't make the whole thing sag. Snapped together in under two hours and it's easily the cleanest HG I've built this year.
