Premium Bandai HG 1/144 RGM-89D JEGAN Type D

The leg joints are surprisingly tight for a Bandai kit, making the finished model feel really sturdy when posing. Those extra vulcan pods on the head add just the right amount of military detail to the already solid design.

The shield decals are crisper than I expected for a Premium Bandai kit, and the gray panel lines on the chest really pop once you topcoat it. Assembly took me about two evenings, but the Jegan’s proportions feel spot-on for a 1/144.

The shoulder armor and chest vents have incredible detail for a 1/144 scale, and the decals really pop against the dark gray plastic. The mold quality is crisp with no flash or misalignment, making assembly a pleasure. A fantastic build for a late-UC suit.
