Premium BANDAI MG 1/100 Hi-ν Gundam Ver.Ka HWS Expansion Set

The added HWS parts snap on cleanly and give the Hi-ν that proper heavy artillery look, though I did need to spend an afternoon on panel lining to make the extra bulk pop. The articulation still holds up surprisingly well with the armor attached, so posing it with the beam rifle feels solid.

I was worried the extra armor might make it too bulky, but the articulation in the arms and legs is still great for posing. The new beam rifle and shield really complete the look for me.

The HWS armor snaps on snugly over the Ver.Ka frame without needing glue, and the added bulk makes the silhouette feel properly menacing. Took me an evening just to finish the chest and shoulder units, but the panel lines are crisp enough that even a quick panel wash brings out the detail.
