Premium Bandai RE/100 XM-01 Den'an-Gei

The leg joints are surprisingly sturdy for a kit this size, and the green plastic has a nice matte finish. I was a bit intimidated by the manual but the steps are pretty clear once you get going.

The polycaps fit snugly, making the arms and legs nice and tight even before painting. This kit captures the bulkier Crossbone Vanguard grunt look perfectly, and the dark grey plastic hides nub marks well.

The panel lines on this Den'an-Gei are crisp and easy to ink, making the build feel really polished. I’ve been into UC kits for a while, and this one fits right in with the rest of my shelf.
