Royal Kitchen 1/100 RG Hawthorn Pastry

I've built a few 1/100 kits before but never one shaped like a hawthorn pastry, and the panel lines on the crust came out way crisper than I expected. Took me about three evenings and the fit on the layers was tight without any glue drama.

I've built a lot of mecha kits but never a pastry-themed one, and the 1/100 scale made the assembly way more detailed than I expected. The layers on this thing actually look like flaky dough once it's snapped together.

The pastry detailing on this kit is honestly ridiculous in the best way — the little layers and glaze texture actually read as flaky crust. Took me about three evenings to assemble and I never once got bored with the build.
