Explore the Moshow PROGENITOR EFFECT Illustrious Class Masamune Date Figure: its model kit format, special order lead time, and how it fits your collection.
Quick Answer
The Moshow PROGENITOR EFFECT Illustrious Class Masamune Date Figure is a model kit that rewards hands-on assembly, but it ships as a special order with a 6-8 week lead time. Plan your purchase if you want it for a specific date.
Model Kit vs. Pre-Built Figure
Unlike a pre-assembled metal figure, this Moshow Masamune Date figure arrives as a model kit. That means you get the satisfaction of building the piece yourself, but you also need to set aside time and have basic tools ready, such as nippers and a hobby knife.
The kit format also makes it easier to store and transport before assembly, since parts are organized on runners. If you prefer an out-of-the-box display piece, a pre-built figure might suit you better.
Special Order Considerations
This Illustrious Class figure is not an in-stock item. It is offered as a special order with a lead time of 6-8 weeks. If you have a birthday, holiday, or convention in mind, order well in advance and factor in potential shipping delays.
The catalog price is USD 67.68, compared to a comparison price of USD 94.00. That price point reflects the kit format and the special order nature, so weigh the wait against the savings.
