Premium Bandai HG 1/144 Crossbone Gundam X-2 Kai

The dark navy color scheme with the gold accents really pops once you panel-line it, and the X-2 Kai’s unique head design looks sharp on the shelf. Build took about three hours and every joint felt snug without needing glue.

The articulation on the X-2 Kai is really sharp, especially around the chest and backpack, and the build feels solid without needing any glue. Took me about two evenings to finish, and the dark blue and orange accents give it a menacing look that stands out on the shelf.

The dark blue armor panels pop way more in person than in the photos, and the X-2 Kai’s unique silhouette makes it stand out on my shelf next to the standard Crossbone. The high-grade detail on the chest and shoulder vulcans is crisp enough that I didn’t even need to panel-line it.
