Cangdao CD-04 玄武 四神獣 黒亀 メタルフィギュア

The black tortoise shell has a satisfying heft to it, and the articulation in the legs makes posing it feel really sturdy. Just took my time snapping the pieces together and it came out looking like a proper display piece.

The metal parts fit together perfectly with no glue needed, which was a pleasant surprise for a kit this detailed. The black tortoise pose is really dynamic once assembled.

The articulation on the shell segments is incredibly precise, and the way the four holy beast motifs are etched into the metal really pops under direct light. It took me about an hour to snap together, but the fit was so snug that no glue was needed at all.
