Eddas Industries 1/100 Salamander Metal Frame Model Kit

The frame pieces snap together with satisfying precision, and the metal finish gives it a heft that plastic kits just don't have. Took me an evening to get the torso and arms done, but the detail on the inner frame is worth the patience.

I've built a few 1/100 kits before but this one's inner frame surprised me — the metal parts give it real weight without making the joints stiff. Panel lining went on clean and the whole build took me about two evenings.

The metal frame makes a huge difference in stability once assembled; the joints hold poses way better than any all-plastic kit I've put together. The detail on the 1/100 scale parts is crisp too, a fun build overall.
