BANDAI Hobby MGSD DESTINY GUNDAM Heine Commissioned Custom Painted Kit

The metallic gold finish on the backpack thrusters looks incredible out of the box, no paint needed. The articulation on this MGSD kit is surprisingly smooth for an SD, especially the shoulder joints.

The Heine Commissioned color scheme pops way more in person than in photos, and the MGSD frame's articulation lets him hold that massive Destiny pack without tipping over. I was nervous about the custom paint job, but the finish is clean with no smudges or sloppy edges. It's the best build I've done

The MGSD line really nails the proportions, and this Heine version pops with that orange trim against the dark frame. The custom paint job is clean, no sloppy edges that I can see. Assembly took me a few evenings, but the finished shelf presence is worth every minute.
