Cangdao 1/72 CD-08 Cang Dao Schorpioen Samurai

The metallic finish on the armor plates looks even better in person than in the promo shots, and the scorpion tail joint clicks into place with a satisfying snap. Assembly took me about an evening, but every piece fits so cleanly that it was genuinely fun to put together.

The articulation on the joints is absurdly smooth for a kit this size, and the scorpion tail clicks into poses with a satisfying snap that holds firm. Assembly took me a couple of evenings, but the final silhouette is worth every minute.

The articulation on this little samurai is way tighter than I expected for 1/72 scale—every pose holds solid without any flimsy wobble. Spent a good hour just fiddling with the sword arm positions and it still feels sturdy.
