Premium Bandai HG 1/100 VF-22S Sturmvogel II (Gamlin Kizaki Use)

The Battroid mode’s extra armor panels snap together much tighter than I expected, giving it a really solid feel for a 1/100 kit. I was worried about the all-white parts, but the panel lines pop nicely with just a bit of effort.

The transformation sequence is surprisingly smooth for a 1/100 scale kit, and the decals lay down perfectly over the panel lines. I’ve built a few Macross models before, and this one has the tightest fit I’ve seen in the battroid mode.

The kit's surface detail is really crisp, especially on the fighter mode panels. Assembly took me about four evenings, but the Gerwalk legs lock in satisfyingly tight. It's a solid build for Macross fans.
