Premium Bandai HG 1/144 GM Spartan

The plastic quality on this one is top notch, and the build went together so cleanly that I didn’t even need to sand anything down. It’s a regular release but feels way more premium than the price point suggests.

After building the GM Spartan, I was impressed by how clean the seam lines are for a regular release kit. The dark gray armor panels pop nicely against the standard blue frame. It’s a solid, no-fuss build that looks great on the shelf.

The articulation on the torso and shoulders feels tighter than most 1/144 kits I’ve built, so the Spartan holds some dynamic poses without flopping over. The olive drab plastic has a nice matte finish right out of the box, which saves me a step before panel lining.
