Compare the Motor Nuclear Zhao Yun & White Dragon Horse standard and Wei Wu Coating Limited Edition kits. Learn the key differences, trade-offs, and which version fits your collection.

Quick answer

Choose the Wei Wu Coating Limited Edition for a premium painted finish and collectible value, or the standard version if you prefer a lower price and want to customize the build yourself.

What makes these two kits different?

Both Motor Nuclear MNP-XH05 Zhao Yun kits share the same metal frame engineering and the iconic White Dragon Horse companion. The main difference is the finish: the Wei Wu Coating Limited Edition (product ID 508564) comes with a special painted coating applied at the factory, while the standard version (product ID 508567) arrives in its unpainted molded plastic colors.

The price gap reflects that coating work. The limited edition is listed at a comparison price of USD 220.00 (catalog USD 145.20), while the standard kit is USD 254.00 comparison (catalog USD 172.72). Note that the standard kit actually has a higher catalog price, which may seem counterintuitive until you consider availability and production runs.

Which one is rarer?

The Wei Wu Coating Limited Edition is explicitly a limited run, meaning once it sells out, restocks are unlikely. The standard version is a regular release and may be easier to find over time. If collectibility matters to you, the limited edition has the edge.
